Workflow
In general, measurements can have three diffferent states:
- OpenEither values are missing or do not qualify for plausibility/consistency. The measurement process itself is not finished yet.
- SimulationThe trim check or actual trim is still in progress.
- FinishedThe trim was either still good or considered as finished (good again).
So you decided to measure your wing's line lengths, as since the last trim check
- the number of flight hours specified by the manufacturer has been reached
- the period of time specified by the manufacturer has elapsed
- you replaced single line(s) or even the whole line set
Have a look on the toolbar page first, to get a basic understanding for what the buttons do.
Here is a list of steps to follow so that they match the we-measure.io workflow
- Start a new measurement for your wing
- Measure the wing either directly into we-measure.io or import measurement data from XLSX
- After all the values are measured & checked for plausiblity/consistency, continue to simulation
- In simulation, use the different tools to check your wing's trim
- If you the trim still meets the requirements of the manufacturer, fine! You can just finish the measurement and continue with the last step.If the trim does not meet the requirement of the manufacturer anymore, you should hand it in to a professional check center.
- Simulate loop changes and apply necessary loops on your wingYou can split the trimming process in as many steps as you want. To keep overview, just apply the loop changes one by one and re-measure in between.
- If you applied any changes re-measure and continue with step 2
- Finish measurement
What if i already finished the measurement and decided to trim it dann doch?
